Neighbors Along the Line

Over thirty years ago, Neighbors Along The Line (NATL), a 501(c)(3) organization, began assisting residents in Northwest Tulsa to meet both their immediate and long-term needs. As our mission states, we provide food and medical assistance, as well as programs, that contribute to the self-development and independence of clients.

Through the contributions of countless volunteers, NATL works to keep costs low. With only four full-time and one part-time employee, and a budget of approximately $200,000, NATL provided over 48,000 services in 2007. Over 90% of donations went directly to programs in 2007.

The idea of the garden is to provide fresh fruits and vegetables for our food pantry. Additionally, a goal is to get members of our community involved. We envision a variety of clients coming out to learn about gardening, their neighbors, nutrition, and themselves. It is an opportunity to grow our services and meet individuals' need for personal growth.
